Abstract
The problem of selection of controlling parameters providing the great est relative quantity of an arbitrary given species is solved based on the extremal model of ecological community. This value is reached whe n the ratios of resourse factors are equal to the ratios of reguiremen ts of the given species. The model predictions coincide with experimen tal results.
