Abstract
Methods of quantitative extraction of cadmium and lead with potassium ethylxanthate into carbon tetrachloride, the effect of sixteen cations and ten anions on these extractions, their separation from the interf ering ions in binary, ternary and quarternary mixtures as well as esti mation (EDTA) after stripping are described. Applicability of the meth ods are established through analysis of Zn and Pb in standard ores, al loys and scrap material.
