Abstract
Domain wall dynamics in an infinite ferromagnetic medium with material quality factor Q greater-than-or-equal-to 1 in the presence of a magn etic field normal to the anisotropy axis and at the same time parallel or normal to the wall plane have been studied. The generalized equati ons of motion of the Slonczewski-type are obtained and discussed. The equations reduce exactly to those of Slonczewski when the quality fact or Q is much greater than unity.
