Abstract
It is known that the torsion pendulum method provides a possibility to obtain the anisotropy field strength and the saturation magnetization of magnetically hard materials. Now this method is extended to obtain additionally the degree of texture. Theoretical calculations are comp ared with measurements performed on Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets at variou s temperatures. Error sources are discussed.
