Abstract
In this paper we Propose a new, inexpensive an fast method for determi ning the magnetoelastic uniformity Of amorphous magnetostrictive ribbo ns and wires. Such a method is based on the response of a magnetostric tive delay line (MDL) when pulsed magnetic field excites acoustically the whole line. Results are given showing an improvement of the unifor mity, after stress current annealing.
