Abstract
It is shown that the spin-reorientation phase transition takes place i n the copper subsystem of Nd2CuO4 under the action of the magnetic fie ld normal to the tetragonal crystal axis. The dependence of the elasti c moduli on magnetic field in the vicinity of the phase transition poi nt has been investigated.
