Abstract
We have used a 0. 3 5-kilobase (kb) antisense RNA probe complementary to the monomorphic regions of both classical and nonclassical HLA clas s I sequences to detect histocompatibility-class-I-antigen-specific mR NA in human testicular tissue. The message has been clearly detected i n the interstitium while less intensive staining was revealed in the p eribasal compartment of the seminiferous epithelium.
