Abstract
Musculoskeletal injuries can arise from muscle contraction during gene ralized seizure activity. The most frequently documented injuries are thoracic vertebral body compression fractures, proximal femur fracture s, and proximal humerus fractures occasionally accompanied by dislocat ion. A case is presented of a thoracic burst fracture and bilateral pr oximal humerus fractures secondary to a seizure.
