Abstract
This review examines recent research on the foraging behaviour of aphi d parasitoids and highlights current knowledge on host location, searc hing mechanisms and variation in parasitoid performance. In addition, the theoretical relationships between host spatial distribution and pa rasitoid behaviour are explored. Predictions from this theoretical fra mework are compared with results from recent experimental studies on f oraging behaviour.
