Abstract
Overall performance after storage at 71 degrees C of spirally wound, h ermetically sealed, Li/SO2 squat ''D'' sized cells discharged at 3 A a t -29 degrees C can be improved by exposing the porous carbon cathodes to a room temperature, low pressure gas plasma prior to cell assembly .
