Abstract
A new software tool for the development of an image segmentation techn ique has been designed, implemented and tested on a number of real app lication cases. It is created as a highly interactive software system by means of a standard computer device mouse and interpolation techniq ues. An entirely connected edge map of microscopic images of biologica l objects can be created. The method is simple and gives reproducible results in reasonable time.
