Jek. Schawe et al., DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF POWER COMPENSATED DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETERS .2. THE SIGNAL FLOW, Thermochimica acta, 229, 1993, pp. 37-52
The dynamic behaviour of the measured signal of a power compensated DS
C is studied in terms of linear response taking into account the measu
ring system, the sample, the reference, the control circuits, the heat
transport coefficients and the heat losses. As a result it is shown t
hat the apparatus (or Green's) function of the DSC (including sample a
nd heat transfer) is different from that necessary to desmear the samp
le heat flow. The quality of the extracted Green's function is discuss
ed for different measuring conditions.
