The influence of different peroxide concentrations and processing cond
itions on crosslinking of polyolefin compounds has been investigated.
The radical reactions and changes in melting and crystallization behav
iour were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. With thermogra
vimetry the thermal degradation of the crosslinked products was determ
ined. The thermoanalytical data were correlated with gel content.
