Abstract
Here, we present an overview of the current applications of flow injec tion analysis (FIA) techniques in the field of biotechnology. Differen t aspects of this technique that can be applied for specific purposes are discussed with particular emphasis placed on applications in pharm aceutical, food, beverage, clinical and environmental analysis. In add ition, the working principles, instrumentation and techniques of flow injection analysis are described.
