Abstract
The classic definition of the scimitar syndrome is a triad of hypoplas ia of the right lung with with anomalous venous drainage and a systemi c arterial supply of a variable degree. We report a case in which a sc imitar-shaped anomalous vein was observed on the plain chest radiograp h, but subsequently a pulmonary angiogram showed that it drained norma lly into the left atrium.
