Persistence of gross hematuria for more than three days following rena
l biopsy merits renal angiography and embolization of the involved bra
nch of renal artery. We report a patient who developed a fatal intrace
rebral hemorrhage resulting from severe hypertension following emboliz
ation of a branch of the left renal artery.
