Abstract
In the lubrication of machine elements, such as chainwheels and chains , solvent-based lubricants can be substituted with lubricants based on white mineral oil. The latter can be made to have the correct viscosi ty, and the use of them will result in an improvement of working condi tions and protection of the environment.
