The potential V(r) = alphar2d-2 - betar(d-2) is studied via the path i
ntegral approach. The Green function is calculated for E = 0 and for a
ny value of d in polar coordinates as well as in coordinates generaliz
ing the Levi-Civita transformation. It is shown that this Green functi
on is the sum of a discrete but finite part and of a continuous part.
Limiting cases will be investigated.
