Abstract
The data of the experiment with the H-2 + He-4 mixture are analyzed in order to estimate muon transfer rates from the excited states of pmu atoms to helium. Experimental data turned out to be insensible to the transfer rates from the metastable 2s state. The rates for n = 3, 4, 5 were found to be: lambda(3) = (2 +/- 7) x 10(10) s-1, lambda(4) = (16 +/- 13) x 10(11) s-1, lambda(5) = (75 +/- 60) x 10(11) s-1, respectiv ely.
