Abstract
A 66-year-old man had diffuse alveolar hemorrhage and rapidly progress ive glomerulonephritis due to IgA nephropathy, The diffuse alveolar he morrhage resolved after high-dose corticosteroid therapy, and renal fu nction improved after plasmapheresis, This response suggests an adjunc tive role for plasmapheresis in the treatment of patients presenting t his rare clinical picture.
