Abstract
The authors developed a linear oscillatory actuator(''LOA'') for total implantable artificial hearts actuators. Starting thrust must be impr oved for LOA's practically use as artificial heart actuators. There ar e two ways to cope with the problem; one way is structural analysis, a nother one is exciting current control. As results of each ways, start ing thrust was improved. This paper reports the structural analysis an d the exciting current control.
