P. Aragoneses et al., INFLUENCE OF THE THERMAL TREATMENTS AND MECHANICAL-STRESS ON THE MAGNETIC BISTABLE BEHAVIOR IN A CO-SI-B AMORPHOUS WIRE, IEEE transactions on magnetics, 29(6), 1993, pp. 3475-3477
Magnetic bistable behavior of Co72.5Si12.5B15 amorphous wire has been
investigated. Such study has been performed from the dependence of the
switching field, H, and reduced remanence, m(r), on applied tensile
stress (sigma(a)) in wires submitted to single-current and stress-curr
ent annealing. This dependence was obtained from the M(Z)-H-Z and M(Z)
-H-phi hysteresis loops of the wire and they suggest a different mecha
nism to that of nucleation process for explaining the bistable magneti
c behavior of this wire.
