Abstract
Implementation of a Disk Drive Servomechanism using a Digital Signal P rocessor (DSP) is discussed in this paper. A seek controller for Voice Coil Motor (VCM) which eliminates the control chattering and reduces the high frequency flexible modes excitation is discussed. Results are presented which show the effectiveness of the controller
