H. Sugaya et al., RE-RECORDING IN OVERWRITE RECORDING (RE-RECORDING MECHANISM BY CONTACT PRINTING MODEL), IEEE transactions on magnetics, 29(6), 1993, pp. 4080-4082
Direct overwrite recording Is very popular, but there are few studies
of re-recording phenomena. In this paper, the re-recording dip is expl
ained by a new contact printing model The originally recorded signal c
an be transferred onto the adjacent recording signal area by the bias
effect of the adjacent signals' magnetic flux. This model can be confi
rmed by some experiments.
