Abstract
The vegetation above the timberline of Mt. Killini has been studied wi th the phytosociological method of Braun-Blanquet followed by numerica l treatment of the vegetation data. Eleven associations, five subassoc iations and one plant community were defined, from which 6 association s, 5 subassociations and 1 community are described for the first time. Some syntaxonomic modifications are also included, and an attempt is made to show the vegetation dynamics from the pioneer vegetation types to the climax.
