Abstract
Liposarcoma in childhood is rare. A case of a myxoid liposarcoma arisi ng at the porta hepatis is reported in a 3-year-old boy with initial f avourable response to surgery combined with radio- and chemotherapy. F atal recurrence occurred at age 15 years. The radiological and sonogra phic findings of liposarcomas are reviewed.
