Abstract
Analysis of the main characteristics of the ''Revista de Salide Public a'' during the 30 years of its existence. A parallel is traced with th e evolution of brazilian public health. The dynamic aspect of the ''Re vista'' is remembered as one of its main virtues. Its future in the co nstitution of the Mercosul regional block is discussed.
