Measured vector analyzing powers for the (C(Li over arrow pointing rig
ht,He))-C-12-Li-6-He-3 reaction are large enough (approximately 0.15)
and sufficiently distinct to provide assignments for the total angular
momentum transfer when combined with CCBA cluster transfer calculatio
ns. Measured tensor analyzing powers (T)T20 are zero within statistics
for this reaction. The iT11 data for the 13.17 MeV state is considera
bly larger than that for the other states indicating a lower spin than
that for 10.69 (9/2+) and 13.00 MeV (11/2-) states. Calculations are
consistent with either 7/2+ or 5/2- for the 13.17 MeV state.
