VARIATION OF MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF HARD FERRITES PREPARED FROM BLUEDUST OF BAILADILA, MP, WITH THE INITIAL RAW-MATERIAL COMPOSITION

Bluedust samples have been subjected to sieve separation to determine the variation in its composition with particle size. Using bluedust wi th the maximum iron oxide content, isotropic hard ferrites have been p repared and the processing parameters optimised. The optimum processin g parameters have been used to prepare hard ferrites from different co mpositions of bluedust to study the variation of magnetic properties w ith the Fe2O3 content in bluedust. After establishing the feasibility of utilising bluedust to produce hard ferrites, anisotropic hard ferri tes have been prepared.
