Abstract
The ac susceptibility of the ferrites Cu1-xZrxFe2-2xO4 (X = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 and 0.3) has been measured in the temperature range 30 0-800 K. The nature of the curve indicates that all the ferrites conta in single domain (SD) particles. The magnetisation studies indicate th at Neel's two sub-lattice model is applicable to the system. The obser ved variation in the Curie temperature is discussed on the basis of Gi lleo's model. The lattice constnats increase with increasing Zr4+-Cu2 concentration.
