K. Kojima et al., EXPERIMENTAL CONSTRAINTS TO REPHASING-INVARIANT CP, T AND CPT VIOLATING PARAMETERS IN THE NEUTRAL KAON SYSTEM, Progress of theoretical physics, 97(1), 1997, pp. 103-119
A phenomenological and comprehensive study is given of the (possible)
violation of CP, T and CPT symmetries in the K-0-<(K)over bar (0)> sys
tem. Relevant decay amplitudes as well as mixing parameters are parame
trized in a rephasing-invariant way, and formulae relevant to phenomen
ological analyses are derived, An attempt is made to derive constraint
s on these CP, T and/or CPT violating parameters from available experi
mental data. It is found, among other things, that the parameters whic
h signal both CP and CPT violations are subject to large errors and at
best only one or two orders smaller than those which signal both CP a
nd ir violations, the latter being known to be of order 10(-3). Furthe
rmore, it is pointed out that those parameters which signal both T and
CPT violations but not CP violation are not yet well constrained expe
rimentally.
