Abstract
To design and develop a turbocharged engine, it is necessary that a lo t of studies should be done to find the characteristics of engine perf ormance and thermal flow. To accomplish this purpose, turbocharger equ ipped to a naturally aspirated gasoline engine was utilized. A thin -f ilm type temperature probe was made and installed onto the combustion chamber wall to measure unsteady temperature. The unsteady heat flux a t combustion chamber wall was evaluated by one dimensional unsteady co nduction equation.
