Abstract
We perform a complete next-to-leading order evaluation of inclusive ne utral pion production from hadronic colliders which is based on the kn owledge of the pion fragmentation functions at next to leading order. This problem has been tackled for the first time using different appro aches. Predictions at LHC are given with the estimate of the theoretic al uncertainty.
