Abstract
The chiral Z-azlactone derived from 1,2-O-isopropylidene-D-glyceraldeh yde reacted with diazomethane to afford stereoselectively and diastere oselectively a cis spiro-azlactone. Solvent and temperature dependence of the ratio of the products is described
