Abstract
Inclusive photon spectra in 200 GeV/u S-Au collisions at the CERN SPS have been measured by the NA45/CERES (CErenkov Ring Electron Spectrome ter) experiment using the conversion method with the target as convert er. Within the present systematical errors of 11%, no excess of the me asured inclusive p(perpendicular-to)-spectrum over that expected from hadronic sources has been found; the integrated p(perpendicular-to)-sp ectrum does not show any rise above a linear dependence from the charg ed particle multiplicity.
