Abstract
1,2-alpha-D-Mannosidase from Aspergillus saitoi was inactivated by che mical modification using water-soluble carbodiimide -ethyl-3-(3-dimeth ylaminopropyl)cardodiimide)(EDC) and glycine ethyl ester (GEE). The in activation rate increased in proportion to the concentration of EDC. K inetic analysis suggested that inactivation of the enzyme occurred by modification of one essential carboxyl group.
