Abstract
This article outlines a strategy for grief education that makes underg raduate college students active participants rather than passive spect ators in the learning process. The first section outlines the pedagogi cal procedure as a spiral of repeated steps in gathering data and cons tructing visual models describing the grief process. The second sectio n describes four representative models that students have developed.
