Abstract
A generalized one-hit model is described for analysing dose-mortality data from assays of insect viruses. The model allows for insect-to-ins ect variation both in the amount of virus suspension ingested and in s usceptibility to the virus. Control mortality is also allowed. The fit of the model to a particular set of data is studied.
