Abstract
This paper presents investigations on a recent technique of polarising grids used to control surface current polarisation in order to improv e radioelectric performances. When applied to patches, this technique improves crosspolarisation characteristics and the decoupling between ports if used in dual polarisation. It also facilitates the design of dual polarised imbricated arrays by eliminating inter-element coupling effects.
