Abstract
Hearing in patients with Meniere's disease improved when they were tre ated in an underpressure chamber. In this study 46 patients with neoro tological diseases, including 32 cases of Meniere's disease, were test ed in an overpressure chamber. As a result, hearing in 32% of the pati ents with Meniere's disease improved, although this was lower than the 50% rate of improvement in Meniere's disease patients tested in an un derpressure chamber.
