Abstract
N-(Sulfonyl)carbamates, useful N-nucleophiles in the Mitsunobu reactio n, can be prepared readily by reaction of sulfonamides with chloroform ates (or dicarbonates) catalyzed by 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine.
