Abstract
The supralinear dependence of visible photoluminescence intensity from amorphous silicon nanopowder produced in plasma enhanced chemical vap or deposition on excitation power and its exponential dependence on pr essure is reported. It is shown that this new material emits two diffe rent kinds of photoluminescence that dominate at different pressures.
