Abstract
Reaction of U(NEt(2))(4) With (PrSH)-S-i afforded U(SPri)(4) which was transformed into the trans octahedral adduct U(SPri)(4)[OP(NMe(2))(3) ](2) 1 whereas treatment of U(NEt(2))(4) With Bu(t)SH gave the cluster U-3(mu(3)-S)(mu(3)-SBUt (mu(2)-SBUt)(3)(SBUt)(6) 2; the crystal struc tures of 1. C6H6 and 2 have been determined.
