Abstract
During the last three decades, Fuzzy Logic based systems have been dep loyed for many engineering applications. This paper discusses the tran sformations likely to occur in the Information Processing Systems in t he light of various developments in Fuzzy Systems. The role of Microel ectronics in Fuzzy Hardware development is brought out.
