Abstract
New excess volume data for three ternary mixtures containing p-chlorot oluene (1) + 1-pentanol (2) + octane (3), p-chlorotoluene (1) + 1-hexa nol (2) + octane (3), and p-chlorotoluene (1) + 1-heptanol (2) + octan e (3) have been measured at 303.15 K. The data were compared with thos e predicted by a semiempirical relation which has been recently propos ed and the Redlich-Kister relation.
