Jw. Larson et Bl. Su, THERMODYNAMICS OF IONIZATION OF MONOFLUOROPHOSPHORIC AND DIFLUOROPHOSPHORIC ACIDS, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 39(1), 1994, pp. 33-35
Phosphorus-31 nuclear magnetic resonance has been used in determining
the thermodynamics of acid ionization of aqueous monofluoro- and diflu
orophosphoric acids. Thermodynamic values for acid ionization at 25 de
grees C are Delta G(0) = 3.1 kJ mol(-1),Delta H-0 = -16.9 kJ mol(-1),
and Delta S-0 = -67 J K-1 for monofluorophosphoric acid and Delta G(0)
= 1.7 kJ mol(-1), Delta H-0 = -7.8 kJ mol(-1), and Delta S-0 = -32 J K
-1 mol(-1) for difluorophosphoric acid.
