Dispersion properties of Stonely-Sholte-Lamb and Rayleigh surface wave
s propagating in the system ''isothermal atmosphere-oceanic waveguide'
' simulated by a layer of a ''heavy'' compressible liquid located on a
homogeneous elastic half-space are investigated. Frequency dependenci
es of their excitation coefficients are established for disturbance of
pressure and particle velocity in the atmosphere in the case of an un
derwater mass source. It is demonstrated that the consideration of a g
ravity surface wave in the ocean in the case of certain depth and soun
d velocity in air leads to the intersection of the frequency dependenc
e of its phase velocity with the analogous dependence for the Stonely-
Sholte-Lamb atmospheric surface wave at two resonance frequencies, to
which correspond narrow resonance maxima in the excitation coefficient
s of these waves.
