Abstract
The symmetry properties of fixed molecule photoelectron angular distri butions in various polarization geometries are discussed, and it is sh own how these place constraints on photoionization dynamics. We presen t model calculations of such photoelectron angular distributions for a generic C-3v molecule, for limiting choices of photoionization dynami cs. Finally, we show how these results help us to interpret the result s of photoelectron-photoion coincidence (PEPICO) experiments.
