Abstract
A series of laboratory experiments is described which show that, under various regimes of host availability, females of Bracon hebetor live for a considerable period of time after completing reproduction. Durin g post-reproductive life (PRL), females continue to paralyze and feed upon hosts. We discuss the possible biological significance of prolong ed PRL in B. hebetor.
