Abstract
We propose a classical model for the non-Abelian Chern-Simons theory c oupled to N pointlike sources and quantize the system using the Becchi -Rouet-Stora-Tyutin technique. The resulting quantum mechanics provide s a unified framework for fractional spin, braid statistics, and Knizh nik-Zamolodchikov equation.
